RETAIL:
Irvine Spectrum Center, Irvine, CA – Design management and construction services for 1,000,000 S.F. Mediterranean theme Retail/Entertainment venue consisting of five phases over a ten-year period. Phase I included a Megaplex Theater with surrounding restaurants. Phase II continued with small box boutique shops. Phase III consisted of a village theme with larger boutique retail shops. Phase’s IV and V included larger retail anchor tenants with surrounding in-line retail shops.
Marq*e Houston Entertainment Center, Houston, Texas – Design management and construction services for a 350,000 S.F. Retail/Entertainment Center inclusive of a 22-screen Megaplex theater and an IMAX theater, along with boutique in-line retail shops.
Pike at Rainbow Harbor, Long Beach, CA – Design management and construction services for this high profile Retail/Entertainment Center that includes approximately 370,000 S.F. of waterfront restaurants and entertainment venues, including an aluminum Pedestrian Bridge on Shoreline Drive reminiscent of the Cyclone Racer wooden roller coaster that existed in the city’s historic Pike Amusement Zone.
Park Place Retail Center, Irvine, CA – Pre-construction and construction services for this high-end Retail/Entertainment Center. Anchored by an Edward’s Megaplex Theater and a Sports Chalet sporting goods store, this center includes restaurants such as Ruth Chris Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen, Houston’s and others.
The Gardens on El Paseo, Palm Desert, CA – Design management and construction services for this high end, two-level, open air shopping gallery constructed on more than 10 acres located on prestigious El Paseo Drive. This project showcases a 40,000 S.F. Saks Fifth Avenue department store; 117,000 S.F. of specialty boutique shops; 50,000 S.F. of upscale restaurants and a 1,000 car, two-story parking structure.
Solano Mall, Fairfield, CA – Design management and construction services for this 161,000 S.F. Retail/Entertainment venue, including a 16-screen Megaplex theater, boutiques and neighboring shops.
Corona del Mar Plaza, Newport Beach, CA – Construction services for 105,400 S.F. of specialty/boutique retail shops and restaurants located on 10 acres at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and MacArthur Blvd. Bristol Farms is the anchor tenant for this plaza.
The Resort at Pelican Hill, Newport Beach, CA – Pre-construction services for a 200 million dollar resort for the Irvine Company. The design intent was to be elegant, comfortable and carefully integrated into its surroundings. Pelican Hill includes a hotel comprised of 204 rooms, a residence club with 128 villas, a new golf clubhouse, restaurants, a luxurious spa, meeting rooms and specialty shops.
The Crosby Golf Club, Rancho Santa Fe, CA – Construction services for the Crosby Estates Club, a two-story 44,000 S.F. high end clubhouse facility. The Rancho Santa Fe style facility includes a restaurant and banquet facilities, men and women’s locker rooms, a pro-shop, snack bar and golf cart storage facilities.
OFFICE BUILDINGS:
Warner Center, Woodland Hills, CA – Construction services for four phases of three and five-story Class A office space. Phase I included two 5-story steel and pre-cast concrete office buildings totaling 379,000 S.F., as well as a 1,200 car parking structure. The project also included 320,000 S.F. of tenant improvement build-out. Phase II included a 3-story 90,000 S.F. office building with infrastructure and utilities on a private street. Phase III consisted of a 5-story 187,000 S.F. steel pre-cast concrete office building and a 1,300 car parking structure. Phase IV included a 5-story 180,000 S.F. office building.
Lakeshore Phase III, Irvine, CA – Design management and construction services for this 10 story, 20 million dollar, 265,000 S.F. Class A Office Building with one level of subterranean parking.
Shea Vantis, Aliso Viejo, CA – Design management and construction services for this 5-story, 177,000 S.F. Class A office building. The building was constructed using structural steel with pre-cast concrete and glass exterior.
MIXED USE:
EVO Condominiums – 28-story, 312 homes, poured in place post tensioned concrete structure with exterior glass curtainwall and shell and core build-out amenities.
HEALTH CARE:
Eisenhower Medical Center, Medical Tower, LDRP Birthing Center, Rancho Mirage, CA – Demoliton and interior renovation of a 130,000 S.F., 257-bed hospital. The project included operating rooms, patient rooms, ICU, CCU Nuclear Medicine and nurse stations. Work also included the complete build-out of a 23,000 S.F., 18-bed birthing center and OB/GYN, E.N.T. trauma and cardiac nursery space along with fourteen (14) LDRP suites. The project also involved elaborate sitework with a new pedestrian bridge. All work was reviewed and inspected under OSHPD requirements and the unique coordination allowed the hospital to fully operate all in-house hospital services during construction.
St. Joseph Hospital, Entry Pavilllion, Bridge and Elevator Tower, Orange CA – Construction of a poured-in-place pedestrian bridge and elevator tower. Work included extensive intersection modification and coordination with city of Orange traffic engineers to alleviate congestion during construction. The covered bridge is comprised of stone treatments, EIFS exterior cladding and a ceramic tile dome.
Pomerado Hospital, Poway, CA – Construction of a single story, wood frame 55,000 S.F. skilled nursing facility. Scope of work included shell and core, all interior fit up including medical gas system. Project also included a pedestrian and mechanical link to the existing hospital. This project was subject to OSA and OSHPD requirements.
Mallinckrodt Medical, Inc., Irvine, CA – Complete design-build of a 110,000 S.F. medical manufacturing facility, warehouse and offices. Work included the installation of MEP systems, interior improvements, and shell and core modifications. Project had split mechanical systems – one for process and one for warehousing, a new transformer and switch gear and new electrical systems throughout the entire facility. The project features Class 100,000 and 10,000 clean rooms with two types of chilled water, process and cooling tower for injection molding machines, and an overhead rolling bridge crane inside. Compressed air, process vacuum and house systems were also included.
UCLA Ambulatory Care Complex & Mental Health Center, Los Angeles, CA – 9-level, 400,000 S.F. ambulatory care complex. The project included approximately 3,800 tons of structural steel, 23,000 cubic yards of concrete and a precast concrete facade The mental health care center consisted of a 4-level, 105,000 S.F. building comprised of approximately 1,200 tons of structural steel, 4,500 cubic yards of concrete and a precast concrete facade. The scope of work included shell and core with complete interior fit up including complex process piping for laboratory facilities. This was a fast tracked, multi-phased health care project subject to OSA and OSHPD requirements.
MILITARY DEFENSE PROJECTS:
Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, CA – Design management and construction services for two new office support facilities for the Air Force. This 93 million dollar project consisted of 560,000 S.F. of open and private office space, including courtroom facilities, an Officer’s club, a conference center, a command post and secure communications facilities. The project also included a separate 17,000 S.F. child development center.
